When the Promise doesn't look like my Position!

Chillleee... Where do I start on this? I have come to realize that my current position is not the promise, and because I don't see the promise yet, I can't give up. I can't back down. I must keep going. Selah

One thing I have come to realize about myself is that I don't like processes. Between my current position and the promise is a process. How many of us can say we stopped too soon or let go too fast? How many of us didn't finish the work because we didn't see the traction?

The Father literally had me go back and evaluate where the people I admire started. The only trend I saw, despite the different avenues they were in, was consistency. Not only were they consistent, but they used what they had. Their cameras weren't the best, they didn't have all the degrees, they didn't have all the answers, but they started, and they were consistent.

So many of us reach a new year and say this can't be another year like the last, and we start looking for a new strategy or another blueprint. But if we sit with ourselves for a moment and do a full analysis, we may realize that we actually never fully worked the strategy or the blueprint we were given. Imagine how much further you would be if you didn't give up and stayed consistent. We won't dwell there too long and sit in a space of reminiscing about the could haves, should haves, would haves, but we do need to simply reflect.

Now what?

Create the plan, but don't give up. It's not even a matter of finishing what you started, as much as it is about seeing yourself through the process. God has not forgotten about you, and your time has not passed you by. You just have to follow through.

The Israelites didn't miss the promised land because God forgot about them. They missed it because they couldn't see God's goodness in the midst of the journey. They thought it was better to be in bondage than to follow the path to be free. It's time for us to wake up and realize that bondage will do nothing for us. Freedom not only is our portion, but it's our right. We will never reach the promise without process.

I want to encourage you not to give up. Don't back down. Don't let disappointment put you in a space where you no longer belong. It's your time, it's your season, it's your moment. Builder, build! Creative, create! Speaker, speak! Pusher, push! You've got this!!!
