The Season of Transition

I really want to speak to women in transition.

I received a prophesy about 3 years ago. I remember pulling up to work and I couldn't go in due to the tears that were falling from the prophesy. The Lord spoke a very clear word about transition and elevation. Now at the time I believed that meant a new job, but in that moment I really felt seen. I am realizing God's time is certainly not ours. Within 4 months, I in fact, was elevated and given a new position but the word didn't end there. What I thought was the finale of the word turned out to be a thrust into a life of transition and elevation.

I realize I have not always given God time to complete a word because I don't like the process. What if he isn't done completing the word he has given you. I have to continue to engage in the conversation and gain clarity on all of it, not just a piece of it. After 3 years, I am just now seeing and understanding that he ushered me into a realm of acceleration and elevation I am still walking in.

The question I ask is what does it take to really get to the promise. Before reaching this point, I have been in many transitions. Elevation requires transition. You can move physical locations but it is important to also move mental locations. My old mindset does not serve where I am going and if I don't make that transition I will remain stuck. I have remained stuck. To live from an elevated place demands presence. You can't go physically where you have not allowed yourself to go mentally. Sometimes it's just about giving yourself permission.

What if you are more than this? What if there is better than this? What if you can be loved well. What if? Sometimes that question is the beginning of transition.

It is time for many of us to pull ourselves out of where we are and get on board for where we are called to be. This isn't always easy but I ask, what is standing in your way? What is holding you back and keeping you from moving forward? Surrender that thing and consider there is more and you're called to receive it. The weight of the process to reach that place can feel crushing but God is calling us higher. I listened to a message where the man of God said the Lord told him I have already gone before you. Any place he has called us to go, he has gone before us.
